TRESPA ATHLON for Laboratory Applications
Trespa Athlon is widely used for laboratory bench surfacing, as well as laboratory furniture components. Athlon offers good chemical resistance and is easy to clean and disinfect. Trespa Athlon Qualities:

		Good Chemical Resistant
		Trespa Athlon has a high resistance to organic solvents such as acetone, toluene, xylene and other similar chemicals. Athlon panels are resistant to cleaning chemicals, as well as food juices and dyes.
		Impervious to Moisture
		Athlon is not adversely affected by moisture, mould and rot do not occur. The surface and core are made from thermosetting resins, which make them impervious to moisture. The closed surface texture does not hold dirt or stains.
		Scratch Resistant
		The melamine impregnated surface with its additional clear melamine overlay makes this panel highly scratch and wear resistant.
		Easy to Clean
		Athlon panels have a closed surface structure, which means that dirt doesn't cling, making it very easy to clean & disinfect.
		Fabrication
		Standard tungsten carbide tipped tools are normally recommended for most kinds of processing, such as sawing, drilling and routing.
