Two Projects. One Range.
Formica® Laminate was specified for two contrasting washroom projects in Ireland, both completed in 2022. Bonham Quay Offices took bold, bright coloured cubicles and vanity units, turning the washrooms into a deliberate design statement. The Crowne Plaza Hotel went the other way, with sophisticated dark woodgrain across cubicles, lockers and vanity units. Both schemes drew on the same 28-decor collection, in the same two grades, with the same performance behind them.

Project Overview
The architects and clients benefitted from a 28-decor range with options to suit both concepts: eighteen solid colours, seven woods and three patterns, all carrying the same robust Matte 58 finish for heavy duty use. LRV values are published across the range, which matters where a washroom has to meet accessibility guidance — a difference of 30 or more LRV units between adjacent surfaces is generally accepted as adequate contrast.
Our Capabilities
Two Sheet Sizes. Less Waste.
The collection comes in two large-format sheet sizes, 4300 x 1850mm and 3660 x 1525mm. Both were used across these projects to reduce waste, with cubicle doors, pilasters, partitions and IPS panels taken from the same sheets, and the client benefiting from a quicker installation process. The larger size also allows greater cubicle height for privacy and more workable accessible layouts. Every decor has a black core, so edges read consistently.
