Project Overview

A Traditional Home Reimagined

Michael Wood used Pura® NFC to completely transform the front-facing exterior of his detached home in Hampshire. The house had the original arrowhead hanging tiles that were a staple of 1960s properties, and he chose to replace them with Pura® NFC on the first floor elevation. Michael McCloy of Elite Composite Designs Ltd removed the tiles, made good the brickwork and meticulously fitted the cladding with insulation, lifting a house that blended into the background into one that catches the eye.

Not Standard Timber. Clean, Modern, Grey.

Project Overview

'After careful consideration, we decided not to go for a typical wooden looking décor and instead go for PU24 Mystic Cedar, to go for a modern look and incorporate the grey colour. It looks very clean and modern compared to your standard timber,' said Michael Wood. Pura® NFC can be installed vertically or horizontally, with joints aligned or staggered in a brickwork format, so the same planks suit a traditional house or a contemporary one.

Our Capabilities

Fitted By A Trained Installer

Michael McCloy of Elite Composite Designs Ltd had recently completed the Pura® NFC Trained Installer Programme, delivered by Performance Panels and launched in September 2023. Installers pass a written assessment, practical workshop and technical validation before they are certified. 'Pura® NFC gives you a clean, sharp and contemporary finish,' he said. 'The finish profile, against the brickwork of this project, along with the dark grey windows, really sets off this home.'

01
Zero Maintenance
01
The EBC-sealed surface needs no painting, staining or sealing. Colour runs through the panel rather than sitting on top, so the elevation holds its finish through UK sun, rain and frost without a maintenance cycle.
02
Design Freedom
Planks can run vertically or horizontally, with joints lined up or staggered in a brickwork format. Here the cladding was used as a standout feature on the first floor elevation rather than across the whole house.
03
Trained Installer Network
Launched in September 2023 and delivered by Performance Panels, the network recommends tradespeople who have passed written, practical and technical assessment, so homeowners get the finish the product is capable of.
