Built For Every Student
Portchester Community School is a diverse and inclusive secondary school whose ethos is to create the same learning opportunities for all students. Refurbishing four of its science laboratories called for spaces that were accessible, inspiring and engineered to last. Our long-standing customer APMG Ltd, with over 80 years' experience designing high-quality laboratory furniture, designed, manufactured and installed the bespoke fitted furniture throughout the school's science department.
Proven Fifteen Years Earlier. Specified Again.
Project Overview
APMG Ltd worked on the original install of the school's science labs over 15 years ago, and with that furniture still going strong, Trespa® TopLab® was the natural product of choice. The new benching had to be high impact and wear resistant to suit heavily used school laboratories, and to withstand Disability Discrimination Act standard rise and fall sinks and desks, specified to accommodate students with accessible needs.

As the UK Premium Partner for Trespa® TopLab®, Performance Panels supported APMG Ltd from specification through to delivery, supplying samples and technical datasheets for the client to review and meeting the manufacturing and delivery timescales for the new benching with approximately 150m² of Trespa® TopLab® BASE. Engineered to last, it offers excellent resistance to wear and tear across worktops and cabinets.
