55 Colmore Row – Design Buy Build Magazine.

See GetaCore Solid Surface being put to fantastic use at 55 Colmore Row, featured in 'Design, Buy, Build' magazine.

GetaCore's highly moisture-resistant surface, constant decors and structures, and 'warm to the touch' properties provided Jax Art with the perfect decorative sheet material to create a spectacular reception desk - a pinnacle of excellence in this prestigious office development at 55 Colmore Row.

A landmark project with a brief to be ‘the best address outside of London’

55 Colmore Row required bespoke solutions to accommodate luxury offices, including the reconfiguration of the building's layout to provide an impressive new reception space within the listed banking hall.

Lovingly restored, the stunning banking hall was purposed as the central public destination at the heart of the building. The banking hall also required a crowning glory for the whole project – a bold and innovative reception desk with the aim of attracting the highest calibre of tenants.

Jax Art, in consultation with architects AHR, the client IM Properties, and the contractor Morgan Sindall, provided a no-compromise design to suit the building. This included CAD drawings with over 400 hours of work for the state of the art desk.
Incorporated new LED technology and custom-made stainless steel frames, the reception desk would require a stable, tempered solid surface product able to provide a seamlessly integrated surface.

Why choose GetaCore over other well-known brands?

After numerous trials with other solid surface brands, GetaCore was chosen by Jax Art, a leading manufacturer of bespoke interiors for clients from the design and architecture industry.
GetaCore was used due "to its unique properties and robust structure..... The end result speaks for itself”     Dash Virdee, Managing Director of Jax Art.
