Meeting environmental standard requirements  

At Performance Panels, we recognise that we have a responsibility to ensure our operations contribute towards environmental sustainability. We, therefore, aim to improve our environmental performance in line with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.

We promote best practice amongst employees, stakeholders and other interested parties, and encourage the development of innovative ideas and initiatives to help us achieve this.

We also aim for achievable targets in the reduction of energy, water and other natural resources consumption. We have combined this with an increase in the use of recycled material and products from sustainable sources.

Our policy highlights the importance of managing and sorting necessary waste materials and we ensure our compliance through recycling schemes. This means we send less waste to landfill and cause less overall harm to the environment.

We are also committed to reducing the negative impact our company vehicles inflict on the environment by selecting fuel-efficient vehicles and following fuel efficiency driving guidelines.

From the boardroom to the warehouse, both management and employees are dedicated to the advantages of committing to a sustainable environmental policy.

FSC^® certified material 

Performance Panels Limited have held FSC 'Forest Stewardship Council' chain of custody (CoC) certification since 2014, to date.

The FSC^® is an international non-profit organisation which supports the production of materials from well-managed forests, reclaimed materials, controlled sources, or a mixture of all. This ensures that the highest environmental, socially beneficial and economically viable standards are met in the management of the world’s forests.
