Trespa® TopLab®PLUS is a range of high quality HPL panels developed specifically for environments where hygiene, avoidance of contamination, sustainability, ergonomics, and safety are of importance.

Trespa® TopLab®PLUS is manufactured with Trespa’s unique in-house EBC (Electron Beam Curing) technology is Trespa’s fast, non-thermal curing method which uses high-energy electrons at a controlled rate to cure the surface of Trespa® TopLab®PLUS. This results in a smooth, closed surface structure to provide:

  • Excellent resistance to most aggressive chemicals and cleaning agents
  • Excellent hygiene performance being suitable to most disinfectants on the market
  • Greater performance with durability and impact resistance
  • Scratch and wear resistance
  • High dimensional stability
  • Easy to clean
  • Suitable for contact with food


Trespa® TopLab®PLUS is developed specifically for the most demanding functional and scientific applications with an attractive and timeless pallet of inspiring colours.

Laboratory environments demand compliance to rigorous codes and standards. Selecting the right material is of crucial importance. Materials specified for laboratory furniture must be durable and scratch-resistant, chemically resistant, and easy to clean. Trespa® TopLab®PLUS is SEFA-3 tested and certified according to international standards, making this the material of choice for a wide range of laboratories including Chemical, Physical and Analytical.

Testing and Certification

Trespa products for scientific surface solutions are tested and certified according to international standards in relation to chemical resistance, low emission, food contact, cleanliness and other properties. Trespa ® TopLab® VERTICAL is certified under the GREENGUARD Gold Certification program and ISEGA Certification program, as well as certified for certain cleanliness properties by Fraunhofer IPA under the Cleanroom Suitable Materials scheme. Trespa International B.V. is a member of SEFA (Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association), EGNATON (European Association for Sustainable Laboratory Technologies) and VIP3000 (Association for Cleanrooms and Pharmaceutical Construction).

Commitment to Renewable Resources

Trespa ® TopLab ® VERTICAL is available as part of the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification ™ (PEFC ™) or Forestry Stewardship Council ™ (FSC ™) certification upon request for restricted quantities and jurisdictions. The use of FSC ™ and PEFC ™ certified Trespa panels may also count towards points for green building certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM and DGNB. These certifications are part of the initiatives resulting from Trespa’s Sustainability Policy, through which the company shows its commitment to the use of raw materials from sustainable sources and to forest preservation. The Trespa ® TopLab ® line has been granted an Environmental Product Declaration issued by EPD International AB.
